COMPANY PROFILE

TreSoli Design was established in 1999 by the Neapolitan architect and designer Rosario Renino and occupies a very particular place in the world of design and creation of interior decoration: the ceramic objects  take shape by drawing inspiration from the natural  environment in and around Naples.

TreSoli Design designs interiors and decorative objects that aim at being innovative and at the same time fully respect the local manufacturing and artistic traditions. Earth, clay, majolica and enamels preserve their strong relationship with the traditional craftmanship of small-scale artistic productions but are brought up to date in their most varied expressions and transformed by the evolution of modern design.

TreSoli Design has a laboratory where seasonal courses can be held for adults and children, as well as training courses for future manufacturers.

The products of TreSoli Design range from interior design projects to interior decorations, such as standard lamps, table lamps, lamp-shades and other objects, made with a manufacturing technique that “dematerialises” the majolica: an abundance of flowers creates a charming play of light and a myriad of projections.

TreSoli Design also creates artistic objects and particular reproductions of plants and vegetables on vases with unique colours and decorations.

TreSoli Design is present on the  market in the sector of design and artistic ceramics. Its main point of sale is its atelier in Naples, which is conspicuous for the uniqueness of its products and the high quality of its manufacturing. Thanks to these characteristics, it has conquered a market segment that is conscious of highly fascinating collector’s items.

Rosario Renino took his degree in architecture in 1988  in Naples. He worked as an interior designer and nautical interior designer at the architect’s firm Antonio Minniti in Naples and as a teacher of art training. His passion for interior design and strong impulse to experiment with his own hands led to the opening of the TreSoli atelier-laboratory in 1999. The name TreSoli is made up of the symbolic number three (“tre”) and the Sun (“sole”). The “ThreeSuns” near the sea have become a place that is open to all Mediterranean impressions as well as to all innovative ideas. A place where designs, clay, colours and fire meet the restless souls of creativity and experimentation, ready to face every change of the creative system and eager to propose new solutions.

At present,  TreSoli Design consists of a showroom and a number of spaces for production and training. It has three regular team members and a large group of apprentices.

The firm aims on the one hand at creating new ateliers guided by people who are willing to return to traditional methods for the manufacturing of high quality products, and on the other hand at being present in places at the centre of cultural tension, where the market is  dynamic and aware of highly fascinating items.
